"Sam" Davis

A celebration of life for Mrs. “SAM” Davis of West Monroe, LA will be held Monday, June 24, 2019 at 2:00pm, at Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held Monday, June 24, 2019 at 1:00pm until time of service at the funeral home. Mrs. Sam was born November 13, 1954 and passed from this life on June 13, 2019 at the age of 64. She was a long-time employee of Olive Garden and was never a stranger to her customers, she was loved by all that loved her. She enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and loving on her grandchildren. Sam is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Addie Cates, and stepson, Bryan Davis. Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of near 30 years, Gerald Davis; daughter, Misty Brooks and husband Jason; sister, Brenda Johnston and husband Don, brothers, Danny Cates and wife Rhonda, and Gary Cates; three grandchildren, Kody, Brady, and Madisyn Brooks; Also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
